The Warruwi Fisheries & Aquaculture Knowledge Partnership Project: delivering sustainable futures and protecting Warruwi's marine and coastal areas. For now, and for the generations after us.

About

This website has been developed as part of the 'Warruwi Fisheries and Aquaculture Knowledge Partnership Project'.  Over the last five years, the Darwin Aquaculture Centre has been working with members of the Warruwi community to determine the viability of various aquaculture initiatives on South Goulburn Island.   The Aquaculture Centre's work sits within a broader Fisheries Research and Development Corporation (FRDC) project entitled 'Identifying the key social and economic factors to successful engagement in aquaculture ventures by Indigenous communities'.

This website has been developed to showcase the community and its aquaculture work.
